To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services how many women in England and Wales have died from cervical cancer in the last five years for which figures are available, expressed per thousand women.

The table shows the number of deaths with underlying cause of death as malignant neoplasm of cervix uteri, and the rate per thousand women for England and Wales for the years 1982 to 1986.
