Mr. Ingram

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport (1) how many vehicles registered within the private sector have been tested under the Department of Transport heavy goods vehicle annual test, in(a) Scotland and (b) the United Kingdom in each year since 1979; and how many vehicles have failed the test;

(2) how many vehicles registered for each public body within Scotland and the United Kingdom have been tested under the Department of Transport heavy goods vehicle annual test, in (a) Scotland and (b) the United Kingdom in each year since 1979; and how many registered public sector vehicles have failed the test.
