§ Mr. GummerThe financial state of the industry is kept under regular review through the collection of data on the value and volume of fish landings, imports and exports, vessel numbers, levels of investment and numbers of fishermen. The results of these surveys are published annually by Fisheries Departments in the form of sea fisheries statistical tables.
