§ Mr. ScottIt is estimated that of the 174,000 supplementary benefit claimants who receive attendance allowance, or whose partner or dependant does, 7,000 will receive the severe disability premium in income support. Similar information is not available for those not in receipt of income support who claim housing benefit.
