§ Mr. Chris PattenAt a special meeting of the Sri Lankan Aid Group in Paris on 4 December, Britain pledged additional aid of up to £20 million in support of reconstruction efforts. An aid mission visited Sri Lanka in January for discussions on the use of these funds.
