To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many foreign lorry drivers, in the past year, have been involved in road accidents; how many were warned for dangerous driving; and how many were prosecuted.

The nationality of drivers involved in injury accidents is not recorded. The nationality of drivers warned and prosecuted for motoring offences is not available.

The number of foreign-registered heavy goods vehicles involved in injury road accidents in Great Britain between 1984 and 1986 is as follows:
