To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what steps his Department is taking to reduce the high concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyls in cod and whiting caught in Swansea bay

The national monitoring programme of fish in English and Welsh waters conducted by scientists from my Department shows that concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyl in our fish including cod and whiting from Swansea bay, are low.
