How many places are there in prison mother and baby units; at which prisons these units are located; and how many women were in these units on the most recent convenient date.

Three mother and baby units at Holloway, Styal and Askham Grange Prisons provide places for up to 39 mothers with their babies. On 9th December 1988 there were 25 inmates with their babies in the units.
