§ Mr. MaudeMy Department has just published a consultative paper on possible changes to the law which, if both the company and shareholder wished, would enable shares to be held on computer, without certificates, and to be transferred without the need for paper transfer forms. I have arranged for a copy of the paper to be placed in the Library of the House.
