§ Mr. FavellTo ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what progress has been made by Lloyd's in the implementation of the recommendations of the committee of inquiry into regulatory arrangements at Lloyd's.
§ Mr. MaudeThe chairman of Lloyd's recently submitted a memorandum recording Lloyd's progress to date. This shows that, of the 69 recommendations which were for Lloyd's to implement, it has implemented or is in the course of implementing all but nine. Work on these is still in hand and we will continue to monitor Lloyd's progress towards their early implementation. A copy of the memorandum has today been placed in the Library.
