§ Mr. John PattenNone recently. The maximum amounts of the prizes which may be paid out for winning on amusement-with-prizes machines, in public houses as elsewhere, were increased on 1 January 1987. We have no current plan for any further change in the maxima, or for any amendment of the provision of the Gaming Act 1968 that premises licensed for the sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises in which such machines are installed require a permit from the licensing Justices.
