Mr. Simon Hughes

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish in theOfficial Report the latest available figures for each London borough for (a) the average selling price of council dwellings under (i) right to buy and (ii) other sales and (b) the average percentage discount on the sale of council dwellings under (1) right to buy and (2) other sales.

Information on selling prices and discounts is not available separately for right-to-buy and other sales. The figures in the table have been derived from those quarterly returns for 1987–88 so far received from the boroughs.
