asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the Social Fund Commissioner and the Social Fund Inspectors fall within the jurisdiction of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration, in the event of a complaint of maladministration.

Although they do not, as a result of the interest shown in this matter Ministers will consider whether the Social Fund Commissioner and Social Fund Inspectors should fall within the jurisdiction of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration.
