§ Mr. Michael ForsythThe essential component of the breast cancer screening programme is that women in the age range 50 to 64 will receive a personal invitation to attend a centre for screening. The Scottish Health Education Group is collaborating with the national training centre for breast cancer screening in Edinburgh to devise a suitable letter of invitation and an information leaflet about breast cancer screening. The material will be available in June. The need for a national publicity campaign will be considered once all the screening centres are in operation.
