§ Mr. MoynihanI have received my hon. Friend's letter of 22 March about building houses on or near old waste disposal sites.
Following a letter in December last to all waste disposal authorities, my Department is currently in the process of establishing the numbers of sites capable of generating methane, and will publish later this year a waste management paper on how to deal with the problem.
