§ Mrs. RoeThe planning policy guidance note on rural enterprise and development (PPG7), issued jointly by my Department and the Welsh Office on 20 January this year, emphasised yet again the contribution that reuse of redundant farm buildings can make to the rural economy without harm to the rural environment. Grants for the conversion of redundant buildings in rural development areas are available from the Rural Development Commission.
