To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what consideration is being given by him to the EEC resolution on child care.

I assume the hon. Member is referring to the resolution on child care infrastructures adopted by the European Parliament at its session on 10 March 1986 and published subsequently in theOfficial Journal of the European Communities. Such resolutions are not binding on member states.
