§ Mr. Douglas HurdNo facilities are provided for the pre-school age children of staff. For older chidren, we participate in an interdepartmental holiday playscheme in the Bootle area. We have no immediate plans to increase the provision of child care facilities but would be willing to consider proposals put forward by staff or trade union representatives for schemes which would be expected to become self-financing.
