§ Mrs. CurrieAssessment of the efficiency of different methods of treatment for drug misusers is part of the World Health Organisation programme on prevention and control of alcohol and drug abuse. This is one of the programmes paid for from the organisation's regular budget, of which the United Kingdom's assessed contribution represents 4.77 per cent. of the whole. Within the programme, officials of the United Kingdom Health Departments have contributed to publications and taken part in expert working groups.
