§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonA further policy document will be issued, but it will need to take account of several forthcoming reports, particularly that on routes south of Edinburgh and the feasibility studies on the upgrading of the A74 to motorway. I hope that publication of the policy document will be possible in the spring of next year.
