To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how much was spent by his Department on official hospitality in the financial year 1987–88.

§ Mr. Eggar
The forecast outturn for spending on official hospitality by both wings of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the financial year 1987–88 is estimated to be £5.1 million.
