Mr. DalyellTo ask the Attorney-General whether the Director of Public Prosecutions will give instructions that all the remaining items removed by the police from the office of theNew Statesman in connection with inquiries into the alleged unauthorised disclosure of information about Project Zircon should now be returned; if he will list the main categories of material removed; and if he will make a statement.
§ The Attorney-GeneralWith the exception of one item, all such material has already been returned. The material consisted of documents considered by the police to be relevant to their inquiries. The retained item is currently the subject of civil litigation.
