§ Mrs. CurrieSo far 43 hospital building schemes, each costing over £1 million, have been completed using the nucleus standard design and briefing system; a further 22 nucleus schemes are under construction. We estimate that a total of at least £30 million has been saved by the use of this standardised approach in comparison with the conventional construction.
