§ Mrs. RoeThe Government's response to the fifth report of the Environment Committee (Cm 43) set out in paragraphs 63–65 our reasons for concluding against public funding of costs incurred by objectors in appearing at public inquiries. I see no grounds for making an exception in respect of planning appeals for development in the green belt.
