§ Mr. Michael ForsythCommunity care is an important issue on which my right hon. and learned Friend receives from time to time representations from a range of interests including Members of Parliament, statutory agencies, voluntary organisations and members of the public. We have consistently made it clear that we are committed to150W promoting a policy of care in the community for such groups as the mentally and physically handicapped, the mentally ill and the elderly.
