Mr. Nigel Griffiths

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will give a breakdown of his Department's target for capital receipts on the housing revenue account, capital, as a proportion of borrowing consent, for Edinburgh for each year from 1982 to 1987;

(2) if he will give a breakdown of his Department's target for capital receipts on the housing revenue account, capital, as a proportion of borrowing consent, for Scotland for each year from 1982 to 1987.

The Scottish Development Department's housing revenue account—HRA—capital receipts estimates for 1982–83 comprised 31 per cent. of the HRA gross capital allocation for Scotland and 24 per cent. of the allocation for Edinburgh.
