Mr. Spearing

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement concerning his decision on the application by the Thames water authority to reduce the statutory minimum flow of water over Teddington weir, stating the old and new limits; and what effects he expects this will have on the quality of water in the upper tidal Thames.
