HC Deb 21 October 1987 vol 120 cc735-6W
Mr. Dalyell

asked the Prime Minister, pursuant to her oral reply on 23 July, Official Report, column 482, what is now her estimate of the level of resources being made available from the private sector to the British national space centre and British space programme.

The Prime Minister

Following my remarks on 23 July, major aerospace companies agreed to continue work at company expense on certain key national space programmes until the European Space Agency ministerial council meeting in November. Information on the overall amount of funding being made available to these programmes by the private sector is not held by the Government.
