asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what advice his Department issues to United Kingdom nationals wishing to travel to (a) Honduras and (b) Nicaragua.

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what advice Her Majesty's Government are currently giving to United Kingdom nationals intending to visit (a) Honduras and (b) Nicaragua.

Mr. Eggar

United Kingdom nationals intending to visit Nicaragua and Honduras are advised to avoid border areas and to register their presence with Her Majesty's embassy on arrival. They should also follow the advice of Her Majesty's embassy and of the local authorities about avoiding areas of particular danger.
