§ Mr. Fraserasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what arrangements he has made for consulting the National Consumer Council, the Retail Consortium and others about regulations and the code of practice to be drawn up under part III of the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
§ Mr. MaudeInformal consultations with major interested parties, including the National Consumer Council and the Retail Consortium, are taking place at present. Wider public consultation will commence as soon as informal consultations are complete.
