asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the British company KMS supplies mercenaries to assist the Contras in Nicaragua, and if so whether the Government will take steps to prevent this.

We have noted that the final report of the United States Congressional Hearings referred to the use of KMS personnel for a short period in 1986, but have seen no suggestion of their involvement since then. KMS is a private company registered in Jersey. We were not involved in any way with these activities and cannot answer for the actions of a private company.
