§ Mrs. RumboldThe average number of microcomputers in maintained secondary schools in England is 14. The quality and breadth of technological education has 463W improved considerably in recent years. The Government have proposed that technology should be one of the foundation subjects in the national curriculum. Subject to acceptance of these proposals, we expect to see further improvements in the standard of technological education at secondary level.
