§ Mr. Peter BottomleyRepresentations were made in 1986 by various trading standards and consumer protection bodies that tyres remoulded by Arvoland Ltd. were faulty and unsafe. The matter was taken up with the manufacturers who went out of business at the end of the year arid a recall campaign was undertaken. The Department continues to monitor the position on remoulded tyres generally.
