HC Deb 09 November 1987 vol 122 c83W
Mr. Spearing

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport which commercial passenger airline flights regularly traverse uncontrolled United Kingdom air-space south of a line from the Severn to the Wash; and if he will name the airlines and airports concerned.

Mr. Peter Bottomley

The Civil Aviation Authority is responsible, through the national air traffic services, for all aspects of United Kingdom air-space management. The authority has told me that the information requested is not readily available and could not be provided except at disproportionate expense.
