To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list those yards invited to tender to the four type 23 order recently announced.

The invitation to tender for up to four type 23 frigates has been sent to Yarrow Shipbuilders Ltd., Swan Hunter Shipbuilders Ltd., Vosper Thornycroft (UK) Ltd. and the VSEL-Cammell Laird Group.
