The Licensing Bill was introduced in this House on Thursday 29 October.
§ 45. Mr. Hardyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he is taking to ensure that companies owning licensed premises do not require their tenants or managers to maintain opening hours at all periods permitted by law.
§ Mr. Douglas HoggThis is a matter for negotiation between the parties concerned. I understand that negotiations are in progress and the parties are hopeful that a satisfactory solution will be found.
