§ Mr. Cummingsasked the Secretary of State for Energy (1) if he will indicate, area by area, the number of British Coal houses sold to financial institutions and the revenue gained from such sales;
(2) if he will indicate the costs attributed to Dawdon, Murton, Vane Tempest and Easington collieries for transporting coal and minerals by road transport and by British Rail;
(3) if he will indicate the annual costs of transporting miners in the north-east to and from work;
(4) what was the level of capital investment in the deep mines of (a) Murton, (b)Dawdon, (c)Vane Tempest and (d)Easington during the year 1986–87; and what is the projected investment during the year 1987–88.
