§ Mr. Peter BottomleyLimited research suggests that fewer than 1 per cent. of road accidents are attributable to drugs or medicines. Further work is needed. The transport and road research laboratory is carrying out further studies in this field. I have no plans to ban the sale of stimulants at motorway service areas. The sale of alcohol is banned.
