§ Mr. Cohenasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will estimate the number of nuclear (i) missiles, (ii) warheads and (iii) throw-weight for NATO forces (a) worldwide, (b) in Europe and (c) in the United Kingdom: (A) in June 1979, (B) now and (C) after implementation of the provisions of the current intermediate nuclear force negotiations.

Under the currently proposed INF agreement, all NATO's ground-launched cruise missiles and Pershing II missiles would be eliminated.
Following an INF agreement, it will remain NATO's policy to maintian the minimum level of forces consistent with credible deterrence.
