§ Mr. Simon Hughesasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if he will estimate the input of inorganic nitrogen to the North sea from the atmosphere and originating from United Kingdom sources; and what assessment he has made as to the significance of this input in a whole sea context;
(2) if he will estimate total United Kingdom inputs to the North sea for 1983, 1984 and 1985 of lead, cadmium, mercury, zinc, arsenic and copper; and if he will indicate the proportions of the overall inputs to the North sea that these figures represent.
