§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will state on a similar basis to his reply to the hon. Member for Norfolk, North on 21 May 1984, Official Report, column 349, what was (a) the gross cost and (b) the net cost to the Exchequer of all agricultural support for each year since 1960 to 1965 including the forecast for 1986–87; and if he will also show the net cost as a percentage of gross domestic product in each case.
