Whether they are satisfied with the geographical spread of institutes and units of the agricultural and food research service in that there are currently no institutes south of a line from Ayr to Edinburgh and none north of a line from Norwich to Aberystwyth.
§ Baroness HooperThe geographical location of the institutes and units comprising the agricultural and food research service is a matter for the judgment of the Agriculture and Food Research Council and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries of Scotland.
