HC Deb 09 March 1987 vol 112 c28W
Mr. Hoyle

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department why, pursuant to his reply of 10 February, Official Report, column 174, the attempted sale of empty prison officers' houses at Culcheth was on the basis that the purchasers carry out works to secure the adoption of roads, footpaths, street lighting and the sewage pumping station; how long the houses have been on the market; whether the houses will be available for sale on an individual basis; and with which groups or individuals his Department has negotiated to date.

Mr. Mellor

I will write to the hon. Member.
