§ Mr. LeeI have been asked to reply. The coverage of the retail prices index (RPI) and the pensioner price indices has recently been reviewed by the RPI advisory committee and a copy of its report is available in the Library (Cmnd. 9848). All the committee's recommendations were accepted by my right hon. and noble Friend the Secretary of State for Employment and most of them are about to be put into effect with the publication of the RPI for February 1987 on 20 March.
