HC Deb 04 March 1987 vol 111 c606W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many lakes in Scotland are being monitored for radioactivity in fish; how often readings are taken; and if he plans to continue monitoring throughout 1987.

Mr. Ancram

To date, 16 lochs (as well as 19 rivers and streams) have been monitored at various times for radioactivity in fish. Monitoring will continue in 1987 as necessary.
