§ Mr. Adleyasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on progress on the development of a new coach terminal for central London; and if he will make it his policy that the costs of building and running such a terminal will be on commercial terms to the operators.
§ Mr. David MitchellI refer the hon. Gentleman to the answer I gave my hon. Friend the Member for Westminster, North (Mr. Wheeler) on 17 November last. I am still considering what would be an appropriate form of inquiry and hope to make a further statement shortly. I am also considering, with LRT, the opportunities for private funding of any coach terminal that may be developed.
