§ Mr. Heddleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will investigate the application for a visa for Miss C. Martinez, the sister-in-law of Mr. Rudiger Schaefer of Enterprise Industrial Park, Britannia way, Lichfield, to which correspondence of 16 May Mr. Schaefer and the immigration and nationality department of his Department in Croydon refers.
§ Mr. RentonInquiries are being made to ascertain whether Miss Martinez satisfies the provisions in the immigration rules for the grant of further leave to remain as a visitor. Mr. Schaefer will be informed of the decision as soon as possible and the immigration and nationality department will also write to him about the other matters raised in his letter of 16 May 1987.
