asked the Secretary of State for Defence to what extent (a) low-flying by the Royal Air Force and (b) the number of public complaints thereat has increased over the last 10 years.

I refer the hon. Member to the replies given to the hon. Member for Merionnydd Nant Conwy (Mr. Thomas) on 22 April,Official Report columns 584 and 585. Thus far (as at end of June) 1987 figures are 74,421 sorties and 1,912 complaints.
