Mr. Galbraith

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give the latest estimates for gross expenditure on health for England and Wales for the years 1987–88, 1988–89 and 1989–90.

Estimated gross expenditure on the National Health Service in England is as follows

Expenditure for Wales is a matter for my right hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Wales.

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will give the National Health Service per capita expenditure net of charges retained by family practitioners for each region of England.
