§ Mr. GummerRepresentations have been received from a number of organisations including the water authorities, the Country Landowners Association and the National Farmers Union, concerning the extension to the lowland areas of the 60 per cent. rate of grant now available for effluent and waste facilities in the less favoured areas.
However, the relevant European Community legilation does not permit the payment of the 60 per cent. rate in lowland areas.
